Sumit Lakhani
CEO
Sumit Lakhani is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Awfis Space Solutions Limited, India's largest and first publicly listed flexible workspace solutions company. A dynamic leader, he has been instrumental in laying the foundation of Awfis, playing a pivotal role in shaping its vision and laying the groundwork for its success.
In his current role at Awfis, he leads profit & loss, business operations, and customer-centric initiatives along with sales, marketing, real Estate acquisition, fundraising, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
Known for his strategic insights and leadership skills, he has been a key driver behind shaping the company's trajectory and positioning it as a market leader in the coworking space. With a wealth of diverse experience across multiple industries like Investment Banking, Private Equity, and IT Services sector, he has played a significant role in shaping successful transformative business ventures with agility and foresight.
Prior to Awfis, Sumit held leadership roles in the investment banking team at Yes Bank and key positions at Tesco and ST Asset Management, Singapore. An MBA graduate from S.P. Jain Centre of Management, Sumit is known for blending analytical acumen with a forward-thinking creative approach.
His achievements have earned him notable recognition, including the 'CXO of the Year' award and being named in Realty+’s ‘40 Under 40.’ He has also been featured among the top 10 of YourStory's 100 Emerging Voices of India.
Amit Ramani
Chairman & MD
Mr. Amit Ramani is the Founder, and the Chairman and Managing Director of Awfis Space Solutions Ltd. Awfis was established in 2015 and today stands as India’s largest provider of flexible workspace solutions, a testament to Mr. Ramani’s visionary leadership and determination. Under his leadership, the company achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Indian coworking space provider to go public, with its IPO oversubscribed by 108.7 times.
In just nine years, Awfis has positioned flexible workspaces at the forefront of commercial real estate. The company now operates 200+ centres with over 135,000 seats, across 18 cities, serving more than 3000 clients—both domestic and global—spanning a variety of sectors.
Under Mr. Ramani’s leadership, Awfis has introduced a wide array of offerings, including Enterprise Solutions (Coworking and Managed Offices), Design & Build Services, Mobility Solutions, and a range of Allied Services such as Eco Mobility, TechLabs, Awfis Café, and Concierge services.
Awfis has set several industry benchmarks, guided by Mr. Ramani’s forward-thinking approach. He introduced the concept of openly listing inventory and pricing on the company’s website, enabling online bookings and digital payments. He also pioneered the "Managed Aggregation" model, where Awfis partners with landlords and developers, transforming them into stakeholders in the business. This asset-light, risk-averse model has driven the company’s rapid expansion and success and positioned itself as a key player in India’s economic growth.

He holds a Master’s in Architecture from Kansas State University and a specialized Master’s in Real Estate and Workplace Strategy from Cornell University.
Mr. Ramani has received several prestigious accolades that celebrate his visionary leadership and impact on the real estate industry. He was named ‘Entrepreneur of the Year – Real Estate’ at the ET Entrepreneur Summit & Awards and honored as the ‘Iconic Leader of Indian Realty’ at the Realty+ Conclave & Excellence Awards. Deepayan Sen
Head- Real Estate & Leasing
Deepayan Sen is the head of real estate and leasing department of our Company. He has been associated with Awfis since 2015 and he is responsible for forecast, understand, evaluate and build the supply strategy for business growth and opportunity. He holds a certificate of business professional programmer from Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Class (DOEACC) Society and he has cleared intermediate examination of the Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India. He has 16 years of experience in the real estate sector. Before his association with our Company, he has previously served as the national lead – RE and LP in real estate and projects department with Staples Future Office Products Limited, the manager of development and expansion department with METRO Cash & Carry India Private Limited, the deputy manager with Pantaloon Retail Limited and the assistant manager with Radhakrishna Consumer Services Private Limited.

Sumit Rochlani
Chief Financial Officer
Sumit Rochlani is the Chief Financial Officer at Awfis Space Solutions Ltd., a seasoned finance leader with over 15 years of experience across industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Medical Devices, and Flexible Workspaces. He leads the company’s financial strategy and oversees key functions including taxation, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, and business finance. Prior to joining Awfis, Sumit held a leadership role at Boeing India. His earlier experience includes key positions at Stryker India and PWC, where he built strong expertise in financial management, governance, and strategic business partnering. A Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Sumit cleared all levels in his first attempt and holds a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA. He is known for his strengths in controllership, FP&A, corporate finance, indirect taxation, and driving finance transformation through automation and technology.

Manu is the Chief Operating Officer at Awfis Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd., India's first listed and largest flex space company. He has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and establishing it as India’s leading flexible workspace provider. Since joining in 2015, Manu has played a key role in expanding the Awfis network, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Under his leadership, Awfis has redefined the coworking landscape by creating a tech-enabled, customer-centric ecosystem that caters to businesses of all sizes, from startups to large enterprises. Manu has ensured seamless workspace management and led initiatives to enhance user experience and engagement through Awfis’ digital platform. With a deep focus on innovation, service excellence, and business strategy, he continues to drive Awfis’ mission of transforming the future of work.
Manu brings extensive leadership experience across hospitality, entertainment, and healthcare, with a proven track record of scaling businesses and driving operational excellence. He has led growth strategies and optimized efficiencies, playing a pivotal role in brand expansion and service excellence. With a strong foundation in hospitality, he has also held leadership positions at renowned brands like The Oberoi Group, further shaping his expertise in the industry.
